During the month of October Warsaw Community Schools participated in a fundraiser for Riley's Children's Hospital. Madison Elementary partnered with Medtronic, their corporate sponsor for this event and together raised an amazing $3,500.00! This is a tremendous effort by the staff, students, their families and employees of Medtronic. The money raised will touch the lives of many families. Mr. Hoag, the principal of Madison Elementary is very proud of the students and their dedication towards working to enrich the lives of others. Dear Madison Elementary Family,
I would like to welcome you to Madison Elementary School for the 2011-2012 school year! It is my belief that families, students and staff working together is crucial to our success, so please do not hesitate to contact me with questions, concerns and celebrations.
As a Madison staff, it is our goal that your child’s educational experience be productive and rewarding. Your child will be engaged in a balanced literacy program, math, science (in our new science lab), social studies, physical education, music, art, library, and computer lab. S(he) will also be involved in many exciting daily activities, field trips and projects throughout the year. Not only does Madison Elementary have great opportunities for students, a very talented staff, and wonderful students, but we also have a supportive group of parent volunteers who are working to help support the Madison staff and students throughout the 2011-2012 school year. The Madison PTO provides crucial resources to assist in your child’s educational experience and is vital to the success of our students. As a Madison parent, we encourage you to become involved at Madison Elementary School. Our PTO is always looking for members and leaders. Also, you can be actively involved with your child’s education at home by reading with your child every night, talking to your child about school, and writing with your child.
